Now, by aligning himself with WLFI, Trump seems to recognise the economic and political potential of digital assets. His involvement has drawn attention from both crypto enthusiasts and political analysts, especially as he runs for president again in the 2024 election.

Recent Rumours, Conundrum, and Support from the Community

As with any major project, World Liberty Financial has faced its share of challenges. On September 4, 2024, the X accounts of Lara Trump and Tiffany Trump were hacked, with attackers using their profiles to promote a scam involving WLFI.

On the other hand, scepticism remains, especially among prominent crypto figures. Nic Carter, a known Trump supporter, publicly raised concerns about WLFI’s high insider allocation and its association with Dough Finance, a DeFi protocol that was hacked earlier this year.
